We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team specializing in Facade, Aluminium, and Glazing work. As an Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health and accuracy of the organization's financial records. You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting activities, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant also collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide valuable financial insights and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Accounting within the construction industry, particularly in facade, aluminium, and glazing work.

Roles & Responsibilities:   

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or relevant accounting standards.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported within established timelines.
• Maintain the general ledger, review journal entries, and oversee the chart of accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze financial data, variances, and trends to provide insights into the company's financial performance. Collaborate with management to explain fluctuations and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts by providing historical data, expense analysis, and revenue projections. Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely provision of required documentation and explanations.
• Prepare and review tax-related documents, including tax returns, supporting schedules, and other compliance-related filings.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen financial reporting accuracy.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in accounting roles, progressing to senior responsibilities.
• Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g  SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is a plus.
